To turn on Wi-Fi syncing, see Sync content between your Mac and iPhone or iPad over Wi-Fi. You can connect your device using a USB or USB-C cable or using a Wi-Fi connection. When you sync, your Mac determines whether your device or your Mac contains the most recent information and syncs new or changed information. Toggle on the OneDrive Finder Integration to enable Finder overlays. First, click the Apple logo in the top left corner of your Mac Desktop and select System Preferences, then select Extensions in the top-level menu (shown in the 3rd row from the top). If you’re on OSX 10.10 or higher, get sync status directly from Finder by enabling Finder overlays in Settings. For example, when you add a movie to your Mac, you can sync so that both the Mac and your iPhone have the movie. Syncing allows you to keep the same items up to date on your Mac and a device. Syncing means updating and transferring items between your Mac and an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
